We had a nice July 4th yesterday with Lisa, Paul, and baby Jack...Duke was excited to see another baby and the day was warm and perfect for swimming and BBQ'ing. Can't believe it was Duke's third 4th of July and Cole's first-they both were in bed before the firework show which Rick and I watched from the backyard and had a pretty good view of the firework show at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Can't wait to take the boys there when they are older.

Cole now has 3 top teeth that are showing and he has been great-he is such a sweetie and has a great personality-he is crawling all over the house, standing on all of the furniture and we can't take our eye off of him for a minute-he is very curious and in to everything just like his big brother. Duke is also doing great and talking and learning new words everyday-he will repeat back anything you say to him and is starting to string several words together at a time. Duke is in the pool everyday and does great in his life jacket and swims all around the pool by himself-one of his favorite new tricks is floating on his stomach. We have even starting getting Cole in the pool more and more and he loves it-both the boys are total water babies which makes their dad very happy.

Jessica is in town with the month renting a beach house in San Clemente so we are taking the boys today to play in the sand and waves.

So far we are having a fun summer and look forward to many more days of fun!

Cole's crawling-2 Top teeth are here and Duke talking up a storm!

Well Summer is here...Can't believe that Duke is 2 and Cole will be 8 months in just 2 weeks. Cole is crawling everywhere and has gottten really fast-also just a few days ago he has starting pulling himself up and standing-he is growing up so fast, he is eating and sleeping really good and has we have started to give him finger foods-he is such a sweet guy and has such a nice friendly personality-he adores his big brother and is always up for a laugh. Cole also got his two botton teeth and the op two are just about to come in. Duke is talking a ton and learns new words everyday-he loves thomas the train, cars, trucks (really anything with wheels still) and is really starting to enjoy puzzles. He also has a great personality and cracks me up everyday. Duke and Cole really enjoy being around eachother and I love watching them play and interact together-you can just tell they are going to have so much fun together-even though Cole can't talk yet they make eachother laugh all the time-it is so cute! Time is flying and they are both changing so much...Love my boys!

Duke's 2!!!

Hard to believe that Duke is 2-he had a blast at his birthday pool party. The weather was great and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Duke at 2 is still talking up a storm (just like mama)-he is still obsessed with anything with wheels: trucks, cars, and now he has discovered Thomas the Train over at his friend Cash's house. He loves the water (just like daddy) and goes in the pool almost everyday with him. Rick can't wait to get him on the paddle board this summer and he has been practicing in the pool with one of his smaller surfboards and Duke is actually starting to paddle with his arms a little. He makes us laugh all the time and is quite a "little ham", I look forward to watching him grow-up. We are so blessed to have both of our boys and they have forever changed our lives for the better. Happy 2nd Birthday Duke-we love you so much!

Duke 2 Year and Cole's 6 month Appt.

We took the boys on Wedneday to their well check appts. Duke is 31 pounds 8 ounces (88%) and 34 3/4 inches long (70%) and Cole is 22 pounds (97%) and 28 inches long (92%). The boys are doing really good-Can;t believe Duke will be 2 in just a few weeks and that Cole is already 6 months. Duke is really talking a lot and everyday learns more and more words. Cole is really getting around-almost ready to crawl-but rolling and scooting everywhere-he is so strong too-he gets up on his hands and toes and looks like he is doing a push-up-too cute!

We are looking forward to summer and it should be a lot of fun getting both boys in the pool and taking them to the beach.

Easter Egg hunt at Sea Canyon Park in Dana Point on Saturday

We had a nice time on Easter- My dad and Uncle John were unable to make it but they were their in spirit. Thanks everyone for coming it was great to spend the day with you...good food and good company...

Duke really enjoyed his first egg hunt on Saturday at Sea Canyon park and he found a special egg so he got a basket full of goodies and on Sunday we did a small egg hunt in the backyard with his friend Cash and they both did a great job finding all their eggs-Can't wait till next year when Cole can join in the fun.
