September 2011

Wow-Time is flying-I can't believe it is already the end of September-I have been having some computer problems and have been having trouble with my camera and pictures so it has taken me sometime to post.

Cole is 10 1/2 months and taking a few steps and standing really well-I can't believe he is going to be a year soon. He is so strong it is unreal-he has starting climbing on everything, he is still taking 2 naps a day and sleeping well at night other then that fact that he likes to wake up every morning at 5:15am-not my best time of the moring-but he will usually play in his brib till 6am or a little after. Cole is one of the sweetest babies I have ever seen-always smiling, loves to cuddle and you can't help but feel good when you are around him.

Duke is 2 years and almost 4 months-he is talking a ton and his vocabulary has gotten really great. He loves doing puzzles, playing with playdough and reading (well he likes pointing to all the pictures and saying what they are), he is non-stop and keep me busy. He is such a great older brother to Cole and loves playing with him and always wants to go with me to get him up from his naps. They enjoy playing together in their cribs and crack eachother up all day long. I love watching them together and am so happy for them to have eachother and makes me realize having them close together was a good choice.

The Holidays around the corner and I am looking foward to them. We are going to take the boys to the pumpkin patch for the 1st time this year and it will be fun to watch them pick out their pumpkins.

The Battle of the Paddle was this past weekend and Rick has been looking foward to it for months. The first Battle of the Paddle was 3 years ago when I was pregnant with Duke. The race has gotten really popular now that paddle boarding has gotten so big-people from all around the world come to compete in it. Rick did awesome and came in 3rd in his age division. Congrats to Rick.....

Here are some pictures from the day.
