Duke's 4 month check-up!

Duke had his 4 month check-up today...he is now 18 pounds and 26 inches long...wow, he is a big healthy boy. The Dr. gave us the ok to start him on rice cereal and we can now give that to him 2 times a day for the next 3 weeks and then start to introduce veggies. He has been sleeping longer and longer each night and has such a personality on him, he loves to laugh and makes lots of noises-he is saying something just wish I knew what it was, as Rick says Duke is chatty like his mommy...we are enjoying him a lot now. I know I am his mom but he is such a handsome guy. I feel truly blessed to be his mom! More to come....

Hi there-What's happening?

We have Duke's 4 month check up tomorrow, can't wait to find out how much he has grown..also looking forward to him starting rice cereal-he is sleeping better but I think once he starts eating food he will sleep even longer at night (maybe even start sleeping through the night, oh happy days). He is such a happy little man and I love to see how he changes and learns new things everyday.

Summer is Over!

Rick is back at work and the summer has come to an end. Wow, what a life changing summer it has been for Rick and I. Duke is doing good and growing more and more everyday. The dr. put him on Zantac for his tummy problem and he has been feeling much better and is even sleeping more-now taking 3 naps a day and sleeping longer at night.
