4 Months....Own Room and more...

Duke likes to play with Cole on his mat

The other day I looked over and Cole had passed out while playing in his bouncer.

Last night Cole spend the night in his "own" room for the first time, he did really well. He continues to be such a sweetheart and I love his laugh and smiles. He is such a happy little guy. On Saturday he will be 4 months old, I take him on Monday morning to his check-up and can't wait to see how much he has grown.

Duke is doing good and loves his brother "Cole Cole"-I can tell he can't wait till Cole can play with him, he likes to talk to Cole, give his kisses and pat him on the head. It is so sweet to see them interact. Duke has also started to throw some tantrums which are not fun, I know he is just expressing himself and starting the "terrible twos" glad it is just a phase that he will outgrow soon hopefully. His favorite word is Truck and he loves to point out everyone he see in books, on the street, or on the TV. He also enjoys Cars and Buses too. He is so boy, I love it!

Jumper and More

The other night at story time before bed Duke just got in his chair and starting reading one of his book-he usually sits on my lap and I read to him but this night he had a different idea. He is so funny!

We are hoping to move Cole into his own room this week-we have been delaying it in fear that he will wake up duke-so we ordered a sound machine and hope it will keep Duke from hearing Cole. We had the boys test out the crib and Cole seemed to like it and Duke got comfy too.

Also, last week we put Cole in the jumper for the first time and he really seems to enjoy jumping around-it is so cute he looks like he is trying to dance every time he gets in it. Duke loved this jumper too, so nice to have another thing for him to do.

Cole has been sleeping OK but we have not had another 10 hour night though, he now goes from 7pm-2am and then wakes again at 5am and I put him in the swing and then he wakes up again around 6am. Mommy is tired but I know this too shall pass-it did with Duke when he was 5 months. Duke loves Cole so much and it is the sweetest thing I have ever seen-he loves to give him kisses and tries to talk to him all the time. I am so excited to see their bond-and look forward to the years to come. Never thought I would be a mom of two boys but I love it and can't imagine not having them, they are both so sweet and loving. I am one lucky mama.

Cole's Sleeps 10 hours

I am so excited-Cole slept 10 hours last night from 7pm-5am, of course I was up several times making sure he was still breathing because I could not believe it! So, this weekend we are going to make the big move and put him in is own room. He is going to be 15 weeks tomorrow-he is really smiling and laughing a lot-and in the bathtub everynight he cracks up when Duke splashes the water all around-so cute to already see them enjoying eachother-they are so lucky to have oneanother and I sure they will grow up to be the best of friends.

The Surf Shack....

Grandma and Grandpa Stinson bought the boys a playhouse AKA: The Surf Shack-Duke loves playing in it and I look forward to years of fun that the playhouse will provide for the boys and their friends-here are some pics of Duke and I will get some of Cole in it soon. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa!

Bath Time

The other night I put Duke and Cole in the tub together. Duke did not seem to mind at all to share part of his bath time with his brother-too cute!! Love my boys....

Cole 1st time in the Spa

Cole is three months today, he is such a sweet baby-his colic is gone and he loves to smile and giggle-such a cutie pie. We are really starting to enjoy him and his personality is great. Duke is a total toddler and wants to do everything by himself-Grandma and Grandpa Stinson got him and Cole a Playhouse which we are calling the "Surf Shack" (pictures to come soon)
