I took Duke to his 15 month check-up this week and he is 33 1/2 inches and 28 1/2 pounds. She said he look great and healthy-poor little guy had to get 3 shots including the flu shot. He is starting to walk around more and more and goes really fast when he uses his walker.

We are getting ready for the new baby and can't believe he will be here in less then 7 weeks. I am going to be 34 weeks on Monday. Wow, time is flying by. I know it is not just going to be a shock for us but I wondering how Duke is going to take having a baby in the house, he is so use to being the only one, good thing is he is still too young really to know what is going on and I am sure when he is older he will not even remember what is was like not to have his brother. We went to the petting zoo in San Juan on Monday with Nana-Duke had fun and even he even enjoyed a pony ride. We had a great time!

Wow, we have had quite a busy summer-We went to Hawaii in July which was fun and have been busy the rest of the summer working on the house. The baby will be here at the beginning of November so we are trying to get everything done before then. Duke has been swimming in the pool everyday and is doing awesome, he is quite the little swimmner. With the weather being colder then normal we have not been to the beach much but have been really enjoying our pool. Duke is taking a few steps and standing well but is not walking yet, lets just hope he starts before #2 arrives. He is also talking up a storm but most the time we are not quite sure what he is saying. Here are some pictures from this summer adventures.

Duke's 1st Birthday

Duke is 1, it is hard to believe that a year has already gone. We had a great time at his birthday and I think Duke really enjoyed himself and love his cake. At his 1 year visit he was 27 pounds and 31 inches, so he has gained 19 pounds and grown 10 inches in a year, quite impressive. He is a happy baby and is standing, clapping, waving, walking with help, shaking his head no (his favorite), saying mama, dada, and a variety of other things I don't understand. He is very active, curious and wants to explore everything he can. We leave in 2 weeks for Hawaii and can't wait to see what Duke thinks of it.
